Description

iBTR seeks a Benefits Resource Center Team Lead.  Primary responsibilities will include providing training and feedback to the Benefits Resource Center team, ensuring the team achieves set goals, and conducting individual performance assessments for each employee.

  • The main point of contact for the department regarding inquiries from other business units, staff, brokers, and clients. 
  • Assist with coaching, developing, and motivating team members. Facilitate team meetings and training sessions.
  • Assist with designing and updating procedures for tasks.
  • Participate and support continuous improvement initiatives; identify gaps and perform root cause analysis.
  • Build proactive and meaningful relationships with a focus on improving the client experience.
  • Leverage synergies with business groups to create mutual success.
  • Work independently and capable of exercising excellent judgment to resolve operational and client-related issues that arise.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Requirements

Qualifications

To excel in this role, one must be capable of fulfilling every essential responsibility to a satisfactory level. The following prerequisites reflect the necessary knowledge, skills, and/or training or a comparable combination of education and experience. Experience with HR Technology, preferably benefits administration OR experience at a benefits brokerage firm.


Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum three years of experience in employee benefits administration technology solutions required.
  • Minimum four years of customer service, administrative, or call center experience required.
  • Minimum two years of experience in a lead or trainer capacity required.
  • Ability to speak clearly and effectively communicate with all internal and external customers to provide exceptional service.
